Key Steps Investment Team Responsibilites
Evaluation
  • Understand clients' history, objectives, and investment needs
  • Assess liquidity, cash flow needs, and risk tolerance
  • Review existing portfolio, fee structure, and conduct fee analysis/comparison
Asset Allocation
  • Utilize MCG’s in-house research capabilities to set strategic allocation
  • If applicable, utilize MCG’s Fixed Income and or Equity Group Trust to achieve broad diversification
  • Provide access to complicated yet rewarding alternatives strategies as real estate, hedge funds, private equity, and commodities
Manager Selection
  • Use of quantitative and qualitative screening process to narrow universe of potential managers and products to optimal set of targeted products
Implementation
  • Conversation of prospect to Fiduciary Services client
  • Timely and efficient asset allocation and manager structure tansitions
Administration
  • Maintain high-touch with clients by having dedicated Consultant and Fiduciary Services analyst
  • Streamline operations to provide efficiencies in wire processing, vendor payments, and reporting
  • Provide administrative support and oversight for entire investment program allowing us to quickly address plan needs
Risk Management
  • Ongoing due diligence
  • Manager and performance tracking
Portfolio Rebalancing
  • Periodic review of holdings and allocations to ensure they are in line with target investment objectives

We are not just coming in four times a year for quarterly meetings; we are going to be there 365 days a year.
