MCG prides itself on the independent performance analysis that we provide to clients. Unlike some consulting firms, we do not rely on the rate of return reported by the investment managers. Rather, MCG uses data provided by the fund's custodian to calculate a monthly return for each investment account. A team of Financial Analysts averaging over twenty years of industry experience performs a thorough analysis of this data and the resulting performance data output populates a proprietary performance reporting package. The performance of each investment manager and each fund is evaluated on a regular basis. Each manager is evaluated relative to custom benchmarks, a specific index and to their peers in their specific asset class. Funds, as a whole, are measured against a customized index and MCG's proprietary fund performance database.
